Karak House is coming soon to Anaheim, California, planting our new café in the heart of Downtown Anaheim at 411 W Broadway — walking distance from the Anaheim Packing District, the Center Street Promenade, and the historic Anaheim Colony Historic District. For nearly a decade, Orange County has been one of the most passionate karak chai markets in America, and our Anaheim shop will finally give Downtown its first dedicated karak chai social lounge: a place where families from the Platinum Triangle, students from Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton, and Angel Stadium or Honda Center crowds can gather over slow-simmered Gulf-style chai, handcrafted specialty coffees, and desserts baked fresh each morning.

The word karak means "strong" in Urdu and Hindi — a fitting name for a tea brewed with bold black leaves, fresh cardamom, and evaporated milk until it turns deep caramel and richly aromatic. 411 W Broadway sits on the northern edge of Downtown Anaheim, a block from Harbor Blvd and the Anaheim Public Library. We're a short walk from the Packing District, a five-minute drive from Disneyland Resort, and easy to reach via the 5 and 57 freeways. Parking is available on W Broadway and in the adjacent public lots — we'll post full directions on Instagram @karakhousecoffee once we announce our opening day.
