Authentic Gulf-style karak chai, handcrafted specialty lattes & deliciously unique desserts with international flavors — coming soon to N Main Street in Corona, CA.

Corona's Home for Karak Chai, Specialty Coffee & Desserts

Karak House is bringing authentic Gulf-style karak chai, specialty coffee, and handcrafted deliciously unique desserts with international flavors to Corona, California — the Inland Empire's fastest-growing food city. Our Corona café will anchor 718 N Main Street in the heart of Downtown Corona, a stone's throw from the Corona Civic Center, Santana Park, and the historic Corona Heritage Park. Corona has quietly become one of the most underserved specialty-coffee and karak markets in Southern California: a city of nearly 170,000 residents surrounded by Norco, Eastvale, Chino Hills, and Riverside — all communities with booming South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Latino populations looking for a modern, family-friendly café that reflects who they are.

N Main Street is the spine of Corona. It runs straight through the Civic Center, past the Fender Museum and the Corona Public Library, and connects the 91 and 15 freeways. That means Karak House Corona will be easy to reach whether you're commuting in from Anaheim Hills, stopping off on a Glen Ivy Hot Springs day, or just looking for the best coffee shop Corona has to offer on a Saturday morning. We'll be open late seven days a week, because karak is a late-night drink as much as an early-morning one — a cultural ritual that fits Corona's after-work, after-mosque, after-dinner rhythm. When you search for specialty coffee shops near Corona, karak chai near Corona, or desserts near Corona, Karak House is building a home.

Karak House handcrafted karak chai and specialty coffee

What is Karak Chai?

Karak chai is a slow-simmered, full-bodied spiced tea born in the Arabian Gulf and rooted in the hospitality traditions of South Asia. The word karak means "strong" in Urdu and Hindi — a fitting name for a tea brewed with bold black leaves, fresh cardamom, and evaporated milk until it turns deep caramel and richly aromatic. At Karak House, we honor that ritual. Every cup is hand-brewed to order, never pulled from a machine, and finished with the small details that make a difference: a pinch of saffron, a crack of fresh cardamom, the right ratio of milk to tea. It is a drink meant to be shared slowly — a reason to sit, to talk, and to feel at home.

Why Corona Loves Karak House

Corona has been the Inland Empire's best-kept secret for a long time. It's affordable, diverse, family-oriented, and geographically perfect — positioned between Orange County and the rest of Riverside County, with Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Norco all within a ten-minute drive. The Muslim and South Asian communities along the 91 corridor have been asking for an authentic karak chai lounge for years. Karak House Corona answers that call. Our regulars from our existing Orange County cafés have been driving out to find us — now we're coming to them.

Specialty Coffee Shops Near Corona

Corona's specialty coffee scene is just beginning to take off. Downtown Corona has a handful of solid independent roasters, but no one is serving authentic Gulf-style karak chai side-by-side with third-wave espresso. Karak House Corona fills that gap. From pistachio lattes to Spanish lattes, single-origin espresso, and Arabic qahwa, we'll be the specialty coffee shop near Corona that doubles as a karak chai destination — and serves it all late into the night.

Our Corona shop will be the Inland Empire's karak home base.
